Living Well with Sight Loss

An RNIB delivered free course which offers peer support for people living with sight loss, their friends, family and anyone affected by visual impairment.

The course is interactive with lots of opportunities to share experiences with others who understand the frustrations of living with sight loss.

Topics include:

• Getting out and about
• Practical skills for everyday life
• Meeting new people
• Using technology
• Eye health
• Making the most of leisure time
• Emotional Wellbeing

The course is particularly useful to people who are newly diagnosed or know that their sight will deteriorate significantly with time. 

There are two types of course that you can take part in:

In Person Course

Delivered across two days a face to face course will take place at a location within Buckinghamshire. Each day will typically run from 11am to 3pm with a break for lunch.

Phone Group Course

Delivered via four 90 minute sessions this enables you to take part in the comfort of your own home.

The RNIB facilitator will call you into the group at the start of the session and will cover all of the topics mentioned above across the four sessions.
