Buckinghamshire Integrated Sensory Service (BISS)

Buckinghamshire Integrated Sensory Service provides support to adults, children and young people in Buckinghamshire with sight loss, hearing loss and dual sensory loss. 

All our services are free as they are funded by Buckinghamshire Council. This does mean that to receive support from BISS you need to be paying your council tax to Buckinghamshire Council.

BucksVision has been commissioned by Buckinghamshire Council to deliver BISS and works in partnership with Young Deaf Activities and Age UK Buckinghamshire.

We have a small team of seven staff, five members of the team directly support clients while two provide administration for the service.

We operate under a number of policies to ensure the safety of our staff and clients.

If you live in Milton Keynes and pay your council tax to Milton Keynes Council your sensory service team is called the Sensory Advice Resource Centre (SARC).
